There’s a great hike in Fort Collins that is not too strenuous but the reward at the top is the view of Horsetooth Reservoir. Today the temperature was about 38 degrees with a mild wind blowing. The sun was shining and the sky was
Colorado blue.
I listened to some podcasts along the hike (Bill Maher, Clark Howard) and wished I had a book downloaded on my Libby app. It was about mid-day so I was ready for mental stimulation instead of just getting into my own head.
I took a few photos at the top but after a short while, it was time to move again. I was going to get cold or my body was going to get stiff. Either way, it was time to get my boots moving again.
Tonight – a chili cook-off at Horse & Dragon Brewery.
