Autumn has it’s own smell!
A crisp, musky smell that makes me want to roll around in the leaves!
This is my favorite time of the year! The colors are so bold and inviting!
The red trees meld with the gold aspen and paints the landscape like a tapestry!
Breathtakingly beautiful. I talked to my brother last night (twin–birthday yesterday) who lives in Fruita, and he was telling me about the beautiful Aspens. I have to get out there to take in all that majestic beauty!

And your brother is right! Colorado autumns are so different from those back east because we are surrounded by ten different shades of gold with a handful of reds to appease us. The Western Slope (Fruita) has the colors as well as all the orchards! Your brother misses you …
